Our Bodywork and Oral Restrictions course, presented by experienced paediatric chiropractor, Dr Catriona McNamara is an extension of our in depth Foundation Course (which is a prerequisite).

This course examines the identification, diagnosis, treatment, aftercare of lip and tongue ties from a bodyworker's perspective. This course will appeal to a diverse range of health professionals, with Chiropractors, Osteopaths and Physiotherapists finding direct application to their work, and other health professionals building their understanding of the crucial role Bodywork plays in the multidisciplinary treatment of oral restrictions.

The Bodywork and Oral Restrictions course includes a large number of detailed case studies, enabling health professionals to observe the immediate impact of this treatment on the health and wellbeing of patients.

The course also explores the interactions with providers of surgical releases and provides insights and tips on how best to collaborate.

This is an extension course, so you will need to ensure you have completed the Foundation Course prior to commencing this course in order to derive the most benefit.

Catriona McNamara

Dr Catriona McNamara has over 25 years of clinical practice. and has completed a Diplomate in Chiropractic Paediatrics (DACCP). Her clinic in Brisbane has a strong allied health networks where she co-manages tongue-tie cases and patients with breastfeeding difficulties. She is a strong advocate for the role chiropractors can play in supporting patients with breastfeeding in the neonatal and early infant period.
